The village of S. Martino is located in the northern Italy, in the region Emilia-Romagna. It is a 10 minute drive from the city of Ferrara. The holiday farm Lama di Valle Rosa is located in the contryside of Ferrara, in via Sgarbata,103 S. Martino (FE).

For those who travel by car
Ferrara is half an hour from Bologna. You can get here by train (both trenitalia and ferrovie emilia romagna), by bus or by car (A-13 Padova Bologna motorway)

From 1995 on, UNESCO has included the historical centre of Ferrara in the list of World Cultural Heritage as a wonderfoul example of a town planned in the Renaissance and still keeping its historical centre intact. From 1999 on, this acknowledgement has been extended to the Po Delta and to the itinerary of the ancient dwellings, called Delizie Estensi. The Delta Po is a wonderful cultural and planned landscape, which still preserves its original layout. Cinema, literature, modern art exhibitions and the university are what keep it intensely alive as its inhabitants daily go about it on their bikes.

Ferrara is a stroll through its narrow streets of the medieval centre and the wider renaissance ones, it's a walk on the majestic walls that encircle it like a great picture frame, it's a visit to the magnificient Castle, it's a pleasant visit to rich museums, it's a taste of the products of a cuisine with very old roots.
